Hafslund Magnora Sol AS is dedicated to developing large-scale solar farms across Norway. The company is owned by Magnora ASA (40%), Hafslund AS (40%) and Helios Nordic Energy (20%).

The company collaboratesย closely with landowners, municipalities, local stakeholders, and grid operators to advance solar projects from site identification to construction-ready status.

As of March 2025, Hafslund Magnora Solโ€™s project portfolio comprised approximately 2,000 MW, of which 800 MW net to Magnora.

Hafslund is one of Europeโ€™s largest and Norwayโ€™s second largest producer of renewable power, and wholly or partially owns more than 80 hydropower plants in Norway. The companyโ€™s own power production is approximately 18 TWh and in total the group operates a production of over 21 TWh. Hafslund has more than 100 years of experience in hydropower, owns half of Norwayโ€™s largest grid company, Elvia, and invests heavily in heating, cooling, carbon capture and offshore wind.ย 

Helios Nordic Energy AB, a Swedish company, specialises in developing ground-mounted solar parks and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Sweden and the Baltic region. Helios has successfully delivered over 200 MW of projects and maintains a development pipeline exceeding 11 GW.ย
