AGV is a South African renewable energy project development company based in Cape Town. The company has the objective to play a proactive role in South Africa’s transition to sustainable power generation by developing quality wind, solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The company is a subsidiary of Magnora ASA, a Norwegian renewable energy development company, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

AGV was founded in 2018 and has participated in the development of more than 3GW of wind and solar PV projects located in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our current project portfolio consists of more than 3GW of capacity at various stages of the development process. The projects can be utilised for direct connection, wheeled PPA solutions or participation in REIPPPP.
