AGV is a South African renewable-energy project development company founded in 2018 and based in Cape Town.

The company plays a proactive role in South Africa’s transition to sustainable power generation by developing quality wind, solar PV and BESS (battery energy storage system) projects. AGV has participated in the development of more than 3GW of wind and solar PV projects.

The current portfolio consists of more than 5GW of wind, solar PV and BESS projects under development. The projects can be utilised for direct connection, wheeled PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) solutions or participation in REIPPPP (Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme).
